Values and Philosophy

My approach to therapy is based in existential philosophy and humanistic values. I believe that life is made up of "moments" and that even painful and traumatic moments can be meaningful additions to the richness of life. My goal as a therapist is to help my clients make meaning of their moments so that they can live a rich life, full of meaning.

Therapeutic Technique and Methodology

My primary tool is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I have completed basic training in EMDR and advanced training in specific applications of the EMDR technique. I also use Heart Centered Hypnotherapy when appropriate to release the pain of past events, eliminate unwanted / maladaptive habit patterns and create a compelling future life vision.
