Values and Philosophy

Through a collaborative approach, I will work with you to identify skills and techniques to help you achieve your goals and work towards resolution. I don’t subscribe to a “one size fits all” approach and believe therapy is most effective when the therapist and client(you) work together. In fact you are part of the treatment “team” (in this case you and I), I am of the belief that you have the answers inside of you I'm just a sounding board, a resource to help tease them out.I can’t pretend to know the full you, however I am able to offer an objective eye and sympathetic ear. Plus a place for you to tell me about it.

Therapeutic Technique and Methodology

The therapeutic models that I employ are Person Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Existential/Logotherapy, and Reality Therapy. The main "thrust" of my methodology is really listening and trying to feel the feelings you are having. I will be as genuine as possible and have unconditional positive regard for you.
