Values and Philosophy

Our time together will be built on kindness, respect and authenticity. Together we will create a space that allows you to be your most authentic self (even the stuff you hide from others) without judgement or rejection. I value a collaborative relationship that will help you find your own answers and develop a plan for moving forward.

Therapeutic Technique and Methodology

My approach to counseling understands that thoughts and how we think directly impacts our behavior and how we feel. We may spend time exploring negative thinking, patterns of thinking that keep you stuck or unhappy. I also utilize mindfulness-based techniques to help you get to know yourself, stay in the present moment and understand your internal experiences. We may also work on practical skills that you can utilize outside of session for lasting and meaningful change.
